Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The singer has made significant inroads to Latin pop. Una Lady Como Tu, the hit song from 2016 was awarded the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for Best Song. The singer released his first long-player ADN with the Sony-owned company based in Medellin, La Industria Inc. This album peaked at eighteen in the Top Latin Albums charts. Vaina Loca, one of the Top Five hit of Ozuna's Top Five album in 2007 led him to join Ozuna. Mala Influencia was his collaboration with Noriel in the year 2020. Following that year, Dopamina became his second album. Later in 2021, he performed as a duo with TINI on her streaming hit single Maldita Foto. The hit song La Bachata from 2000 was made available in 2023. Turizo was brought up in a music-oriented environment because both his mother and his older brother are musicians. In interviews, he described music participation as mandatory. When a young boy, he studied the guitar and saxophone. At first, he wanted to become a vet, but after his brother Julian was convinced to let him attend lessons with an Cuban singer, he altered his career plans.
